A surprise work trip brought dad to STL for a few days this week, and we had a chance to hang out. He took Sunny and me out to dinner on Monday night - we went to a tapas restaurant on "the Hill" (an old Saint Louis neighborhood with lots of great restaurants). Then, on Wednesday at sunset, we headed downtown for the obligatory visit to the arch, followed by dinner at the boat house in Forest Park. Good times - we're glad we got to see him since we missed him in Lake Geneva this year.

Dad (Seubert) visits STL
A surprise work trip brought dad to STL for a few days this week, and we had a chance to hang out. "Meet me in St.Louie, Louie, meet me at the Fair!" How fortuitous(sp?) and wonderful to have the opportunity for you and your dad (Werner, Uncle Werner) to spend time together - and at your own home - gateway to the West! As I get older and time goes by so quickly I realize how precious those times are that we are able to spend time with one another - like that week or so each summer many of us are able to enjoy time together to yak, yak, yak, to laugh our heads off and be crazy (because in normal life we ar NOT crazy - really???) - And yes, we missed having Werner with us at the lake and hope he joins us next year! Looking forward to October 26th! More Family Fun!!!!
