Midwest...Calm and Beautiful...How is it on the East Coast????

Beautiful here in Elmhurst...about 80...lots of sun.  Uncle Kevin went up to LGBA...I stayed home since I have SHINGLES!!!!!  OUCH!!!!, they hurt...plus they look gross...giant blisters on my lip and acne like rash on my chin and left jaw line.  But what is happening in the DC area???  Has everyone blown away in the giant Hurricane Irene???/

Weekend of Reflection

I visited my college friends down in Richmond this weekend. We spent Saturday all day at one of the prettiest gardens in Richmond, Maymont :) The perfect picnic by the Japanese ponds.

We had a delicious dinner that night and danced into early morning at the clubs. I drove with Maedeh back to Northern VA. She is back here because she got a job. I missed her a lot and everyone down in Richmond misses her already, she's a great friend! :)

We are grooving at the Lake....well actually grooving on the porch.  It is hot and humid and the lake water temp is PERFECT.  We are going to Rockford tomorrow with Molly and Declan to visit with Aunt Maura.  Paddy will be attending a birthday party for one of his preschool friends at one of the Wrigley Estates
